Every Tuesday and Thursday evening during the school year, tutoring is offered in Math, English, Sciences and Social Studies/History at the Rising Spirit Aboriginal Youth Centre. Youth participate in valuable, hands on and fun life skills activities, in order to gain a sense of the responsibility it takes to live independent and healthy lives. The program encompasses four areas – recreation, culture, community involvement and cooking skills. This program is offered at the Rising Spirit Aboriginal Youth Centre. |
